Choosing to Conquer: The Women Who Won the Vote

Celebrate Women’s History Month at the Morristown & Morris Township (NJ) Public Library! At 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, New Jersey resident Nancy B. Kennedy, author of “Women Win the Vote! 19 for the 19th Amendment,” will present a slideshow of historic and current photos illustrating the 72-year fight for the woman’s vote. Not only will you hear about the national fight, but you’ll meet suffragists at the state and local level as well. Morristown women were eager to vote!
