Maybe you know that American women won the vote in 1920. But just how did they do it? In this show-and-tell program, author Nancy B. Kennedy shares suffrage keepsakes and photos as she takes you through the 72-year fight for the woman’s vote using her children’s book, “Women Win the Vote! 19 for the 19th Amendment.” Following the program, children will have to opportunity to make their own inspirational pin.
