Maybe you know that American women won the vote with the passage of the 19th Amendment in 1920. But just how did they do it? In this show-and-tell program, author Nancy B. Kennedy shares suffrage artifacts and historic photos as she takes you through the 72-year fight for the woman’s vote using her children’s book, “Women Win the Vote! 19 for the 19th Amendment.” This is a private event for the fourth graders of Muscota PS 314 in Manhattan.
